Cheryl had one bridesmaid, her sister Cherie, and together they spent the morning getting ready at their Glen Waverley home. We always love prep shots at home, as everybody is comfortable with the environment and it adds character and sentiment to the photos. Even their dog made an appearance.
After a relaxing session there, it was a lovely drive up the Dandenongs to Lyrebird Falls where all the excitement began.
Cheryl and Shazan chose not to have groom preparation photos, and in cases like this, we'll have a mini prep shoot at the ceremony venue. It only takes 5 minutes where we get the best man to fluff over the groom, adjusting his tie, etc. This provides some useful shots for the album to balance the bride preparation images.
Cheryl soon arrived, and it was time for the fun to begin! We love the series of photos below as Shazan did his best to get the ring on Cheryl's finger :)
After the ceremony and group photos, we had about 20 minutes to capture a few portraits on the Lyrebird Falls property which included a little forest path and a bridge. The weather had been beautiful all day, perfect for their outdoor ceremony and these photos.
