Shirley started her big day with her bridesmaids in her family home where all the young ladies were getting prepared. Because the groomsmen were getting ready at the same time, we sent one of our photographers, Bec, to the bride and Dani headed off to the groom.
Normally it's the bride and her bridesmaids that stay at the venue prior to the wedding, but Tom and the boys weren't going to keep with tradition if it meant scoring some comfy accommodation where they could get into their superhero outfits!
Poet's Lane boasts both a beautiful outdoor ceremony area and large chapel, so you've got the option of either an indoor or outdoor wedding. Tom and Shirley chose the stained glass windows and timber-lined altar of the chapel, safe from Melbourne's four seasons!
Being in the Dandenongs meant lots of lush green backdrops. We worked our way around the property, out onto Poet's Lane road itself and across to the neihbouring reserve for some fun bridal party photographs.
So much fun. So much love! In addition to the smiles you see in the photos below, we also set up a photobooth and captured some weird and wonderful shots of the guests. What an enjoyable and memorable day it was for Tom and Shirley and we wish you both the very best!
