We love taking backlit photos where we use our giant flash to light up everything around the bride and groom. It makes for a standout photo that will proudly feature in your wedding album! and a dinner reception. An evening reception at The Gables was the perfect opportunity to do this. If you're viewing this on your phone, you won't see the photo well beneath this text, so check it out on a computer!
Contact UsBree and the girls enjoyed some pre-wedding laughs over bubbly and exchanging gifts at her Kew home. From her funky hair and wedding dress, fluffy shoes, and arriving at The Gables in an Uber, we knew this wasn't going to be the average wedding!
Meanwhile, the guys were getting ready in Mont Albert at Andrew's parents' home. Groomsmen often get dressed very quickly, so it's our job to encourage the guys to put on their suits, ties and shoes in slow motion so that we can photograph all the details.
The Gables in Malvern is known for its Tea House that is open daily, but it's also a great wedding venue with a lovely gazebo for a garden wedding. Bree casually walked down the petal lined aisle accompanied by her parents, and what followed was a lighthearted yet intimate wedding ceremony that their family and friends will remember forever
It may not be immediately obvious from the photos below, but their wedding cake was a cheesecake! Literally, it was a wedding cake made entirely from a gourmet selection of cheeses! This was way cooler than the usual fruit cake or mud cake that we see at every wedding :) Even the staff at The Gables were baffled by the wedding cake, but what a brilliant idea!
