Abby and her bridesmaids had been up since 3am to get ready. Now that's early! Despite this, they were full of energy without a coffee in sight when we started our photography and videography at 7am.
This was going to be one major 14 hour event and to cap it off, it was New Year's Eve!
Let's start at Abby's house where it was bustling with bridesmaids shortly after sunrise, and where the groomsmen were soon going to gatecrash for some pre-wedding fun and games.
After the fun and festivities at Abby's family home, it was off to our location shoot at the beautiful Cloudehill Gardens. It's always a pleasure to shoot at Cloudehill as the gardens are always neatly manicured and there are numerous nooks and structures to create a variety of backdrops.
Tatra Receptions offers both a beautiful outdoor ceremony location and an indoor, light-filled chapel. Today we're shooting indoors, which worked out nicely, as sitting out in the full sun can be a little glary. I really liked the His and Hers chairs, and the fun group shots!
A quick rest and makeup session for the bridal party before it was onto the lovely dinner at Tatra.
Jon and Abby honoured their parents throughout the day so it was fitting that we end with a lovely shot of their parents to end the reception!
